Will has an expansive education from Merrist Wood College, Surrey where the opportunity to be part of the Euro Skills and World Skills competition. For 3 years, Will has been part of the Great Britain team and obtaining Gold at in the 2016 Euro Skills competition.

William and his team mate Adam Ferguson were given a 36 M2 plot to transform over 6 days. They were competing against the best young landscaping talent throughout Europe. Their radial woodland theme, precision and attention won theme Gold for 2016.

Proud to be featured on BBC South East following Gold at Euro Skills 2016

Following his success at the Euro Skills competition William was interviewed and featured on the BBC, have a look at the video here.  While working though a project in Horley, William describes the feeling of winning gold for landscape gardening, radial design and landscape construction.  The BBC has been a strong reporter of the success Will has seen and will be following his progress through the 2017 season.

Euro Skills (Europe) 2016 – GOLD

WorldSkills Europe is a nonprofit member association, which promotes excellence in the field of skills and competence development. The organisation raises awareness of the importance of professional excellence and high quality vocational education and training for Europe. Moreover, it provides a unique means of exchange and comparison of European-class competency standards in the industrial trades and service sectors of the global economy.

Representing Great Britain at World Skills – Abudabhi 2017

In 2017 Will travels to AbuDhabi to represent Great Britain in the World Skills competition. The team hope to see success again this year and maintain the momentum of their current successes. While the team are training and prepping this completion, there is always time for another award winning project.
